On Wednesday 10th June at the Manchester Business School the Charity Abuse Watch held its AGM. Set up in November 1997 to co-ordinate the efforts of pressure groups all around the country it is a lobbying and information collecting charity, which has been instrumental in changing the law already. It influenced the introduction of the Sex Offenders Register and the law, which allows the British courts to prosecute sex offences committed outside the country.
